@wahcar1 2001-2007 the neptunes had one of the greatest music producer’s runs of all time. Hit after hit with a sound that was only unique to them. Then when you think about n.e.r.d., for allot of people n.e.r.d created that bridge for people to get into other genres of music, who otherwise wouldn’t have if it wasn’t for n.e.r.d. Allot people follow trends set there favorite artist, but little do they know there favorite artist were influenced by P. Pharrell changed culture forever
@wahcar1 Pharrell brought color to hiphop. He was the one who made it cool to be your self. Sure there were artist before him such as tribe, but the star trak movement was the movement that broke the cliché mold of what it was to be cool, and brought it to the masses. If it wasn’t for Pharrell starting the bbc/bape movement street wear culture wouldn’t have elevated to the level that it has now. The bape movement birth all these other trends you see now weather u realize it or not.
