Am I the only one who think Rhymefest’s girl was prettier than Kanye’s.
Kanye’s best verse ever. Because it’s one of the few times he’s ever rhymed on a hard, funky beat. I love 3:31 when the melody cuts off, leaving only the banging drums.

@3Dimensional3 I meant the hip hop media i.e. Radio One, BET, XXL, The Source etc. Its funny you mentioned the magazine thing> I actually just graduated with a journalism degree, I was thinking about doing it. I dont expect local news to cover news from a different state….just as I would not expect those hip hop outlets to cover something tangential connected to hip hop—though it happens often.

That’s mainstream media covering mainstream hip-hop. That’s like complaining that the local news should spend more time covering things in a different state. I agree that underground hip-hop should get more coverage and light shone on it though. You should start a magazine dedicated to undergound music.
